Game VDS is a virtual server with resources reserved for you, on which you can run a game server. It is not a managed game panel; you connect with full rights and install the game server software yourself. In return you get complete flexibility: version, mods, plugins and configuration are all under your control.

No. Kolan Bilişim Teknolojileri provides the server infrastructure, the network connection, DDoS protection and infrastructure-level technical support. Installing, updating and configuring the game server software is up to you. Our support team is with you at every point on the infrastructure side — connectivity, ports, resources and performance.

You can install almost any game server software that runs on Windows or Linux. The titles our customers install most often are Minecraft, FiveM, Counter-Strike 2 and Rust; ARK, Valheim, Terraria and similar games also run on the same infrastructure. Share the system requirements of the game you plan to run and we will pick the right plan together.

This cannot be answered with a single number; capacity depends on the game, the mods and plugins you install, the size of your map and how densely players cluster together. We prefer not to give you a figure we cannot stand behind. Tell us which game, for roughly how many players and with which plugins you plan to run, and we will determine the right configuration together.

Every Game VDS plan runs on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes. This Zen 5 processor offers 16 cores, 32 threads and a boost clock of up to 5.7 GHz, with 80 MB of total cache. The vCPU, memory and disk allocated to you are reserved in a guaranteed way through KVM virtualization. The plans differ not in the processor but in the number of cores and the amount of memory and storage assigned to you.

Because what determines game server performance is not the core count but the speed of each core. Most game servers run their main loop on a single core; the high boost clock of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X helps that loop finish every tick on time, and its large cache reduces waiting on memory when players cluster together. You can also rent the same processor for non-gaming projects through our Premium VDS plans.

Most game servers run their main loop on a single core. When that loop no longer fits in its allotted time the server slows down and players feel the lag. Adding cores alone therefore does not help; what matters is speed per core. That said, a few cores are still useful for side services such as databases and voice servers.

Decide based on what your game server software supports. For Minecraft and many Linux-compatible servers, Ubuntu or Debian consume fewer resources. For software that only runs on Windows, choose Windows Server. You select this when ordering and can change it later from the panel.

Our servers are located in the Istanbul Radore data center. Access within Istanbul sees roughly 2 ms, and across Türkiye 3-8 ms via our G-Core Istanbul PoP connection. The exact value depends on your players' internet provider and the city they connect from.

DDoS protection is included as standard on all Game VDS plans at no extra cost. Filtering happens at the 200+ Tbps backbone level; malicious traffic is scrubbed before it reaches your server's line. You do not need to take any action during an attack.

Provisioning runs automatically once payment is confirmed, and your access details usually arrive within a few minutes. As soon as you connect you can start installing your game server software.

Yes. You can move to a plan with higher resources; your data and installation are preserved during the upgrade and the difference is prorated over the remaining days. When virtual server resources are no longer enough, the next step is a Game Dedicated Server.

Backing up the data on your server is the customer's responsibility; we recommend taking regular backups of your game world. If you would like a managed solution as well, you can ask us about our Veeam-based backup service.

Yes. Your server ships with its own IPv4 address and all port configuration is under your control. You open the ports your game needs in the firewall yourself, and can request additional IPv4 addresses if needed.
