Game Server Hosting
Run your own game server and let your community connect with low latency. An AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor boosting up to 5.7 GHz, NVMe SSD storage and DDoS-protected Istanbul infrastructure — with full administrator rights, you install whichever server software you need.
Run Your Own Game Server on a VDS
Game VDS is a virtual server with resources reserved for you, on which you can run the server software of any game from Minecraft to FiveM. Renting a game VDS means you connect with full administrator rights, install whatever you need, and manage your world, plugins and rules entirely yourself.
What you get from taking a complete server instead of a shared game panel is flexibility: version selection, mod and plugin installation, port configuration, databases, voice servers and automation tools are all under your control. As your player community grows, you simply upgrade the plan and continue on the same server.
- Full administrator (root) access
- Install any game server software and version you want
- No limits on mods, plugins or custom configuration
- Upgrade the plan as your community grows
Popular Game Servers and Operating Systems
The games below are the server software our customers install most often; ARK, Valheim, Terraria and similar titles run on the same infrastructure. Installing and configuring the server software is up to you — we provide the infrastructure, the network and the support.

Why the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X for Game Servers?
Every one of our Game VDS plans runs on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes. That is not a marketing badge; it is a hardware decision made by looking at how game server software actually works.
What makes a game server feel smooth is not its total core count. Most game servers — Minecraft, FiveM, Counter-Strike 2 and Rust included — run the main loop that updates the world on a single core. What matters is therefore speed per core, and this is exactly where the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X stands out with a boost clock of up to 5.7 GHz.
The second decisive factor is memory access. As the player count grows, so do the entities, blocks and physics calculations handled on every tick; if that data cannot be kept close enough to the processor, the loop starts waiting. The 9950X's 80 MB of total cache and DDR5 memory controller keep frequently accessed data near the core, helping tick times stay stable under load.
You do not have the processor to yourself on a plan; with KVM virtualization the vCPU, memory and disk allocated to you are reserved in a guaranteed way. So when you rent an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X VDS, even a single-core plan finishes the same work in less time than a core on a lower clocked server processor. The same logic applies to AMD Ryzen 9 9950X game server hosting: the right question is not "how many cores" but "how fast is each core".
- Single-core performance: boost clock up to 5.7 GHz
- 80 MB of total cache means less waiting on memory
- DDR5 memory and NVMe SSD storage for fast data access
- KVM virtualization: allocated resources are reserved for your server alone
Six Things That Make the Difference When Hosting a Game Server
What keeps a game server running smoothly is not the total core count; it is clock speed, latency, disk speed and resilience under attack. Our infrastructure was built around these points.
AMD Ryzen 9 9950X Processor
Most game servers run their main loop on a single core. The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X every plan runs on boosts up to 5.7 GHz, which helps keep the server smooth as the player count rises.
Low Latency
Our servers at the Istanbul Radore location deliver ~2 ms latency on domestic connections and 3-8 ms across Türkiye. Your players feel their commands register instantly.
DDoS Protection Included
Game servers are frequent targets. Malicious traffic is scrubbed on the 200+ Tbps backbone before it ever reaches your server. Protection is standard on every plan.
NVMe SSD Storage
Maps, world saves and asset files are read from NVMe disks. Chunk loading and server restarts become noticeably shorter.
Full Administrator Rights
You get unrestricted rights on your Windows or Linux installation. Install any server software, mod, plugin or automation tool yourself.
Deployed in Minutes
Once payment is confirmed the server is provisioned automatically and your access details are sent to you. You can start setting up your game server the same day.

Why Clock Speed Matters More Than Core Count on a Game Server
Most game servers update the world a fixed number of times per second; in Minecraft this is called TPS, and in many FPS titles the tick rate. This main loop usually runs on a single core. A thirty-core but slow processor can therefore perform worse than a fast six-core one.
As the player count rises, so does the number of entities, blocks and physics calculations to process on every tick. When the main loop no longer fits in its allotted time, the server slows down and players experience it as delayed hits, doors opening late and rubber-banding. This is why the right choice for a game server is a high clock speed processor with fast memory access — on our plans that role is filled by the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X.
- The main game loop is mostly sensitive to single-core speed
- High clock speed delays TPS drops under player load
- NVMe storage reduces chunk loading and world saving stalls
- KVM virtualization allocates your resources in a guaranteed way

Keep Your Server Standing Even Under Attack
Game servers are among the most frequent targets of DDoS attacks. A rival community or a player who was removed from your server can saturate the line and cut everyone's connection. On an unprotected server the result is losing your community — players do not come back.
On our infrastructure, DDoS filtering happens at upstream backbone level: malicious traffic is scrubbed on the 200+ Tbps backbone without ever reaching your server's line. During an attack your line does not saturate, your players' latency does not spike and their sessions do not drop. Protection is included as standard on every plan.
- Filtering happens on the backbone, before traffic reaches the server
- Always on — no manual action needed during an attack
- Included as standard on every plan, at no extra cost
- Your players stay connected during an attack

Game VDS is a virtual server with resources reserved for you, on which you can run a game server. It is not a managed game panel; you connect with full rights and install the game server software yourself. In return you get complete flexibility: version, mods, plugins and configuration are all under your control.
No. Kolan Bilişim Teknolojileri provides the server infrastructure, the network connection, DDoS protection and infrastructure-level technical support. Installing, updating and configuring the game server software is up to you. Our support team is with you at every point on the infrastructure side — connectivity, ports, resources and performance.
You can install almost any game server software that runs on Windows or Linux. The titles our customers install most often are Minecraft, FiveM, Counter-Strike 2 and Rust; ARK, Valheim, Terraria and similar games also run on the same infrastructure. Share the system requirements of the game you plan to run and we will pick the right plan together.
This cannot be answered with a single number; capacity depends on the game, the mods and plugins you install, the size of your map and how densely players cluster together. We prefer not to give you a figure we cannot stand behind. Tell us which game, for roughly how many players and with which plugins you plan to run, and we will determine the right configuration together.
Every Game VDS plan runs on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X nodes. This Zen 5 processor offers 16 cores, 32 threads and a boost clock of up to 5.7 GHz, with 80 MB of total cache. The vCPU, memory and disk allocated to you are reserved in a guaranteed way through KVM virtualization. The plans differ not in the processor but in the number of cores and the amount of memory and storage assigned to you.
Because what determines game server performance is not the core count but the speed of each core. Most game servers run their main loop on a single core; the high boost clock of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X helps that loop finish every tick on time, and its large cache reduces waiting on memory when players cluster together. You can also rent the same processor for non-gaming projects through our Premium VDS plans.
Most game servers run their main loop on a single core. When that loop no longer fits in its allotted time the server slows down and players feel the lag. Adding cores alone therefore does not help; what matters is speed per core. That said, a few cores are still useful for side services such as databases and voice servers.
Decide based on what your game server software supports. For Minecraft and many Linux-compatible servers, Ubuntu or Debian consume fewer resources. For software that only runs on Windows, choose Windows Server. You select this when ordering and can change it later from the panel.
Our servers are located in the Istanbul Radore data center. Access within Istanbul sees roughly 2 ms, and across Türkiye 3-8 ms via our G-Core Istanbul PoP connection. The exact value depends on your players' internet provider and the city they connect from.
DDoS protection is included as standard on all Game VDS plans at no extra cost. Filtering happens at the 200+ Tbps backbone level; malicious traffic is scrubbed before it reaches your server's line. You do not need to take any action during an attack.
Provisioning runs automatically once payment is confirmed, and your access details usually arrive within a few minutes. As soon as you connect you can start installing your game server software.
Yes. You can move to a plan with higher resources; your data and installation are preserved during the upgrade and the difference is prorated over the remaining days. When virtual server resources are no longer enough, the next step is a Game Dedicated Server.
Backing up the data on your server is the customer's responsibility; we recommend taking regular backups of your game world. If you would like a managed solution as well, you can ask us about our Veeam-based backup service.
Yes. Your server ships with its own IPv4 address and all port configuration is under your control. You open the ports your game needs in the firewall yourself, and can request additional IPv4 addresses if needed.
