Webmail lets you access your corporate email account through a browser without installing any additional application. It's the most practical way to check email from another computer while traveling, to do a quick check before you've added the account to your phone, or to see messages without setting up a client like Outlook. Our hosting packages use the Roundcube webmail interface.
1. Direct Access via URL
The fastest method; anyone who knows your email address can use it:
- Open your browser and enter one of the following in the address bar:
https://yoursite.com/webmailhttps://webmail.yoursite.com
yoursite.com.) - On the login screen:
- Email Address: Your full email address (e.g.
info@yoursite.com) - Password: Your account password
- Email Address: Your full email address (e.g.
- Click the Log in button.
- You'll see the Roundcube home screen; folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, etc.) on the left, message list in the middle, selected message on the right.
2. Automatic Login via cPanel (No Password)
If you're already logged in to cPanel, you can access Webmail with one click even without knowing the email password:
- Log in to cPanel.
- In the Email section, go to Email Accounts.
- Click the Check Email button next to the account you want to access.
- The Roundcube screen opens directly without asking for the password again.
This is especially handy for checking a mailbox after creating an email account for an employee or testing that an account is working.
3. Getting to Know the Roundcube Interface
The main sections you'll see after logging in:
- Mail: Inbox and other folders.
- Contacts: Address book.
- Settings: Signature, folder management, filters, identity definition.
- Compose / New Message: Envelope icon at the top left.
Practical settings:
- Adding a signature: Settings → Identities → open the identity, type your signature in the Signature field and Save.
- Creating filters / rules: Settings → Filters → Create to automatically sort, tag or forward incoming messages.
- Folder management: Settings → Folders to add new folders or rename existing ones.
4. Changing the Password
To change your email password via Webmail:
- Log in to Roundcube.
- Click Settings at the top right.
- Go to Password from the left menu.
- Enter your current password and your new password twice, then click Save.
If you've forgotten your password, you can't reset it from Webmail; you can re-set it via cPanel Email Accounts → Manage → Change Password.
5. Common Issues
- "Login failed" error: Make sure you entered your full email address
(
info@yoursite.com) as the username, not justinfo. - "This site can't be reached" / page won't open: If your domain's DNS records aren't
set up correctly,
webmail.yoursite.comwon't be reachable. In that case tryhttps://yoursite.com/webmail. - SSL warning: SSL certificate provisioning takes a little time for newly added
domains. If you need access urgently, you can also reach it via the port
https://yoursite.com:2096. - Messages appear empty or missing: Clear your browser cache and try again. If the issue persists, open the same account on another device to confirm messages are actually on the server (they may have been deleted if downloaded by another device via POP3).
- My Webmail session keeps closing: Roundcube's default session is limited; it signs you out after a long idle period. This is intentional for security.
If you have a problem accessing Webmail that you can't resolve, you can open a support ticket with a screenshot and your email address; our team will inspect and help.
